Jean Flinn

Faculty Instructor

Jean is an elementary music teacher.  She teaches general music in the Akron Public Schools to students from Kindergarten – 5th grade and teaches Finale classes to the music educators in her school district.  She has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Education from Kent State University.

  • Joined Sweet Adelines in 1974
  • Master Director of the Greater Cleveland Chorus
  • Sweet Adelines International Certified Music Judge
  • Sweet Adelines International Certified Music Arranger
  • Member of Sweet Adelines International Region 17 Music Education Team – teaches music theory, arranging classes, and coaches quartets and choruses in her region as well as other regions
